After a long month of renovating and moving our old workshop, we’re looking forward to take some time off and enjoy this beautiful summer... spending long days at the waterside.

We received these wonderful pictures from an apartment in Toledo (Spain) which has been redecorated with vintage wallpapers from the INKE-collection.

...time is flying…

This picture was taken 6 years ago, on my daughters 1 day in school.

It’s an old tradition; When children in Germany set off for their first day in school upon entering first grade, their parents and/or grandparents present them with a big cardboard cone, prettily decorated and filled with toys, chocolate, candies, school supplies, and various other goodies. It is given to children to make this anxiously awaited first day of school a little bit sweeter.
You can by them readymade…but of cause with a studio filled with all kind of papers It’s so much fun for me to make them by my own.

This year, after the summer holiday, it’s our sons turn!

Shown above on the round wall is a wallpaper tree #2 special 188. The blue vintage wallpaper goes very well with the light-grey wall.

Kreativ Wohnen (D / 2012)

This is quite funny; today I got this german book: 'kreativ wohnen' (by Dorling Kindersley in 2012) which I ordered. Reason that I found this book, was the article in 'Freundin' this month, where I saw this old photograph of one of our first trees.

I knew I saw this picture before, but couldn't remember where and when.
This keeps running in my head…

It appears that this picture got published in 2007 in an australian interior magazine (Inside out). The pic was taken in one of our stores in Sydney.
The original title of this book is: "82 modern style ideas to create at home" (by Murdock books in 2011)

Funky Monkey at Piquant Baby (Dublin, Ireland)

This Monkey (pattern 071) found its place very creatively in the latest Piquant Baby storefront, in Dublin Ireland... (click on the images to enlarge).

Another nice publication in the german magazine 'Freundin' this month. They found a photograph of one of our first trees with one of the first birdhouse-lamps ever made (!) …
The tree isn't available anymore in exactly this patterns, but we could make a collection papers / colors similar to this. Just send us a mail and we will see what we can do.

We zijn er erg trots op dat vanaf deze maand Inke's ontwerpen verkrijgbaar zijn in alle Colora Filialen in België.

En er wordt groots uitgepakt! Zo kun je bij iedere vestiging het stalenboek doorbladeren om inspiratie op te doen, en staat deze uitgave van het Colora Magazine in het teken van Inke's behangsilhouetten.

Het leuke van de kleurwinkels van Colora is dat je er een volledig advies op maat kunt krijgen voor de kleurkeuze van je interieur.

We are a little bit proud, that we are taking part of the latest exhibition at the musee du papier peint in Rixheim:

"Au Royaume des petits princes - Le papier peint pour chambre d'enfant". ( The Kingdom of the Little Princes - Wallpaper in the child's room )
