Let's do the time warp!

Ever since there are walls, there is wall decoration. And every era has its own definitive style and characteristics. Just one look at a piece of wall art, and you know immediately which period of time you're looking at. 

And that's the power of wallpaper: Instant time travel!

A great example of this phenomenon is this photo that we received from one of our Etsy clients (Yes, Inke's vintage wallpaper is also available on Etsy!)

...time is flying…

This picture was taken 6 years ago, on my daughters 1 day in school.

It’s an old tradition; When children in Germany set off for their first day in school upon entering first grade, their parents and/or grandparents present them with a big cardboard cone, prettily decorated and filled with toys, chocolate, candies, school supplies, and various other goodies. It is given to children to make this anxiously awaited first day of school a little bit sweeter.
You can by them readymade…but of cause with a studio filled with all kind of papers It’s so much fun for me to make them by my own.

This year, after the summer holiday, it’s our sons turn!

The team from  El Osito Azul (Madrid, Spain) shared these wonderful pictures with us from the upcoming Mi Casa magazine.

Lots of Inke-designs in this pink themed room! The flowered wallpaper is pattern 118 (exclusively made for Inke). This wallpaper is also used in the Elephant wall decal,

The tree shown in the picture is Wallpaper Tree #2 April 075 (golden trunk).

And of course a beautiful, hand made Inke birdhouse lamp to really finish things off.
