Feeling Home

As a child, moving to a new house can be exciting, but also a bit scary. Especially the first times sleeping in a strange new bedroom, with all the unfamiliar sounds and shadows. So when we heard that Sofie's daughter really missed her beloved wallpaper tree and couldn't sleep without it, we were glad that we were able to re-create the exact same tree for her. Hopefully now she can sleep well again, having her old friend back in her room.

Play room at Blooming Hotel, Bergen NL (Via Archello)

Nice placement of Wallpaper Tree #2 in the children's playroom at the beautiful Blooming hotel in Bergen (NL). This project by Studio Stoerrr is from a while ago, but we were just attended to it via Archello - repository of architectural design.

Casa Facile magazine (Italy)

Some great pictures from Italy today! Renowned stylist Cristina Gigli used various vintage / found items and combined them with modern classics to create an unique look for this children's room. This interior is featured in Casa Facile Magazine.

Needless to say we're very proud to see Inke's Wallpaper Tree and Fawn so prominently on the wall!

We had a great day at the Langeland Hospital Zoetermeer! Amazing how a bit of colour changes the atmosphere so much. The three delivery rooms are now transformed into their own colour; We have the light blue, the green and the lilac room. Yesterday we planted three wallpaper trees. 

We spoke to lots of nurses and doctors passing by and everyone is very happy with the new look of the department of obstetrics. Next week we will finish the hall. Looking forward to it.

Van Naald tot Draad (II)

Onlangs kregen we een exemplaar toegestuurd van het zeer fraaie boek "Van Naald tot Draad" door Elke Vanelderen.

Dit tweede deel alweer staat wederom boordevol creative ideeën voor mama's. We zijn erg blij dat Inke's Behangboom ook een mooie plek heeft gevonden op één van de pagina's.

Van Naald tot Draad II ligt momenteel in de winkels.

Adieu Wallpaper Tree Special 188 :((

It is always a bit sad to say goodbye to a particular wallpaper, but especially so with the 188 pattern.

When we introduced the Wallpaper Tree Special 188, we could not imagine how popular this design would ultimately become to be. But alas - having vintage wallpapers in the collection means that the supply is limited, so we now reach the time to discontinue the 188 wallpaper.

Fortunately, we still have pictures :) With big thanks also to Ilona, who was kind enough to share these photo's of one of the last Special 188 trees:

El Osito Azul @ Mi Casa Magazine

The team from  El Osito Azul (Madrid, Spain) shared these wonderful pictures with us from the upcoming Mi Casa magazine.

Lots of Inke-designs in this pink themed room! The flowered wallpaper is pattern 118 (exclusively made for Inke). This wallpaper is also used in the Elephant wall decal,

The tree shown in the picture is Wallpaper Tree #2 April 075 (golden trunk).

And of course a beautiful, hand made Inke birdhouse lamp to really finish things off.
